Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services or facilities. By booking, purchasing, or participating in any of our activities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.
If you are registering on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and accept full responsibility for their participation.

1. General Acknowledgement
• By registering, booking, subscribing, or entering the premises of Max Ping Pong, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
• Participants under 18 must have the consent and authorisation of a parent or legal guardian.
• All prices are inclusive of 10% GST unless otherwise stated.
2. Health & Safety Requirements
• All users must ensure they are physically fit to participate in table tennis or any related activities.
• Entry is strictly prohibited for individuals with:
– Active skin infections (e.g. herpes, molluscum contagiosum, scabies);
– Contagious respiratory conditions during the infectious phase;
– Transmissible STIs with open lesions (e.g. genital herpes, syphilis);
– Other conditions that may pose a transmission risk via contact or droplets.
• If you are unfamiliar with any equipment, please consult a staff member before use. Max Ping Pong is not responsible for injuries or health incidents resulting from undeclared conditions.
Minors & Supervision Requirements
• Participants under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent to register and attend any club activities.
• Children under 12 years of age are strongly recommended to be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times, or have an authorised carer present at the venue throughout the session.
• Teenagers aged 13–17 may attend sessions independently if the club has been clearly informed of this arrangement. In such cases, this will be considered as explicit authorisation from the parent or guardian.
• Parents/guardians must provide up-to-date emergency contact information and assume full responsibility for the minor’s safety and participation.
3. Membership & Payments
• Memberships are billed weekly and renew automatically. The minimum commitment is 4 weeks.
• To cancel, members must notify us via email at least 4 weeks in advance.
• Online payments incur a transaction fee payable by the customer.
• Failed auto-payments will incur a $3.50 service fee per attempt.
4. Bookings, Cancellations & Transfers
• All bookings are confirmed upon payment and are generally non-refundable.
• Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance may be rescheduled once without charge.
• Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled session will incur a 35% cancellation fee.
• If a participant becomes medically unfit to continue remaining sessions, they may transfer the remainder to another person by paying 35% of the remaining value. This is allowed only once and must be approved.
5. Force Majeure & Scheduling Adjustments
• In the event of venue closures, weather disruptions, system outages or other unforeseen incidents, we will reschedule services where possible.
• Coach assignments may change due to availability; the actual coach may differ from the one shown online.
6. Equipment Usage & Damage
• All users must use equipment responsibly. Misuse or damage caused by a participant or their guests must be fully compensated.
• Access to restricted equipment or staff-only areas is strictly prohibited.
7. Behaviour & Conduct
• Strictly no alcohol, drugs, or smoking on the premises.
• Aggressive, disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in suspension or termination of services without refund.
8. Privacy, Media & Data
• The venue is under CCTV surveillance for safety and security purposes.
• By attending events or activities, you consent to the possible inclusion of your image in promotional photos or videos. Please notify us in advance if you do not wish to be featured.
• We use cookies and analytics tools to improve website performance.
• Customer information is kept confidential and managed according to our privacy policy.

9. Pricing & Adjustments
• Max Ping Pong reserves the right to modify its pricing for memberships, bookings, and products without prior notice.
• If a previously purchased item is priced higher than the current rate, the difference may be credited toward other services. If priced lower, no additional charge is required.
10. Disputes & Legal Compliance
• If you have concerns or complaints, please contact us at info@mttc-syd.com. We encourage you to seek resolution directly with us.
• We will respond to all issues in accordance with the applicable laws of New South Wales.
• These terms are governed by the laws of NSW, and any legal matters will be handled under its jurisdiction.
11. Waiver of Liability
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Max Ping Pong accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage sustained through use of the premises or services.
• You acknowledge that participation in physical activity carries inherent risk (e.g. falls, collisions, fatigue) which you voluntarily accept.
• We are not liable for losses resulting from third-party actions, force majeure, coach changes, or system faults.
• Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant service.
12. Coach Conduct & Independent Services Disclaimer
• Coaches are strictly prohibited from providing training or related services outside of Max Ping Pong’s formal supervision and booking system.
• All coaching sessions must be conducted within the venue and arranged through official channels.
• Any privately arranged training without the club’s authorisation is considered a breach of policy.
• Max Ping Pong is not responsible for any loss, injury, or dispute arising from unauthorised private arrangements between a coach and client.
• Coaches violating this policy may be terminated immediately and further action may be taken.
13.Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions occasionally to reflect changes in our operations or legal obligations. Major updates will be posted on our website and notified to users where practical. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you have purchased services under a previous version of the Terms, those terms will continue to apply unless otherwise agreed.
Max Ping Pong reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any such changes will be effective from the date of publication on our website.
If you continue to use our services after the changes are posted, you will be deemed to have accepted the revised terms. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically for any updates.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Australian Consumer Law where applicable.
MTTC Sydney Table Tennis Tournament – Conditions of Entry
1. Decisions
The Event Director and MTTC Organising Committee shall have full management of the tournament. Their decisions on all matters are final and binding.
2. Divisions
Players will be placed into two divisions (Under 1000 or Over 1000) based on skill level and total entries. Each group will contain approximately 4–5 players.
Unrated players will automatically be assigned to the Under 1000 division unless otherwise approved by the Event Director.
3. Equipment
• Only white plastic ITTF-approved 40+ balls will be used.
• Standard ITTF tables and nets will be provided.
• Players must bring their own rackets meeting ITTF regulations.
4. Game Rules
All matches shall follow the current ITTF Laws and Regulations.
Gluing inside the venue is not permitted.
The main colour of clothing must not be white.
Any dispute regarding racket legality or attire shall be decided by the Event Director.
5. Refusal of Entry
The Event Director reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to refuse entry to any player. In such cases, paid entry fees will be refunded.
6. Event Format
Each player competes in a round-robin group of four or five players.
The top two players from each group proceed to the knockout stage.
All matches are best of five (5) games.
Winners and runners-up of each division will receive medals or trophies.
7. Cancellation of Events
MTTC reserves the right to cancel, merge, or alter any event if insufficient entries are received or circumstances require.
Players affected will be moved to a suitable division or refunded.
8. Injury and Liability
MTTC, its organisers, and representatives shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during the tournament.
Players enter and participate entirely at their own risk.
Insurance coverage applies only to Table Tennis NSW (TTNSW) registered members under TTNSW terms and conditions.
9. Player Eligibility
All participants must be registered with Table Tennis NSW (TTNSW) or Table Tennis Australia (TTA).
Unregistered players acknowledge that they compete at their own risk and are not covered by TTNSW insurance.
10. Behaviour and Conduct
All players and spectators must behave respectfully toward others, officials, and the venue.
Any form of abusive language, unsportsmanlike conduct, or damage to property may result in disqualification or removal from the venue at the discretion of the Event Director.
11. Photography and Media Consent
By entering the tournament, players consent to the use of their name, image, and videos taken during the event for MTTC promotional or social media purposes, unless a written objection is submitted in advance.
12. Late Entries
Acceptance of late entries is at the discretion of the Event Director and subject to space availability.
13. Warm-up
A maximum of two (2) minutes is allowed for warm-up before each match.
14. Ready to Play
Players must be ready to play when called. Failure to appear within two (2) minutes of the official call may result in a walkover or disqualification at the discretion of the Event Director.
15. Tied Players
In the event of tied results in a group, final positions will be determined according to ITTF tie-breaking rules (ratio of games won/lost, points ratio, etc.).
16. Right to Amend
MTTC reserves the right to modify the event schedule, match format, or conditions as necessary to ensure fair play and smooth operation.
The Event Director’s decisions are final in all matters.
17. Acceptance of Conditions
By submitting the entry form or participating in the tournament, all players acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Conditions of Entry.
